Who are we?
Acceptance Yoga was formed in 2023 to bring Yoga to beginners, especially those who desire a gentle introduction.
We honor yoga traditions while making our classes accessible to those with no prior experience in Yoga. We do not assume familiarity with postures, breathing, or meditation techniques. Classes and articles are based on the Yoga Sutras and other fundamental yoga philosophy, but you do not need to read them to be accepted.
Our mission is to bring yoga to you and to the community, however that works best for you. It might be providing video content on YouTube, articles in our blog and on social media, or group discussions over zoom. It might be an event in a park, a hiking trail, an office building, or a pop-up venue. If you’ve got an idea, we’re interested!

Acceptance
Embracing acceptance is entering a space where you feel accepted and creating a space where you accept others. You do not need to improve yourself to be accepted. You do not need to acquire an ability to be accepted. Others trust you not to pass judgement on them. Others trust you to value their differences and not try to change them.
Everyone
Acceptance Yoga builds events and classes that collectively welcome everyone. People who find it difficult to leave their homes. People who are nervous about practicing yoga around other people. People who prefer practicing yoga with others. People who want to climb to the top of a hill. People who can’t stand up from their chair or who can’t get down on a mat. Everyone.
